Commissioned by the Limestone Barrens Exhibition. The show features photography, sound, music, poetry, installation and video works by leading artists from three regions: Greg Staats, Har-Prakash Khalsa, Kris Rosar and Liz Zetlin from Ontario; Marlene Creates, David Morrish and John Steffler from Newfoundland and Labrador; Orla Kenny, Liam O’Callaghan and Rob Canning from Ireland. The exhibition began its tour at Sir Wilfred Grenfell College Art Gallery in Corner Brook in July 2004 and will tour to Niland Model Arts Centre, Sligo, Ireland; Limerick City Museum, Ireland in 2005 and to the Art Gallery of Newfoundland and Labrador, St. John’s upon its return to Canada. Research and documentation of the project will appear in a major publication featuring texts by the three curators: Charlotte Jones, Corner Brook; Sean McCrum, Dublin; and Stuart Reid, Owen Sound.
